Picture Perfume
Jenny Van Sommers is an awesome still life photographer. Gary Card is a deadly set designer. The two have collaborated to created tantalising versions of popular fragrance bottles. Delicately wrapped in a variety of materials, (string, foil, fabric). These luscious creations add a delicate sense of seduction to the bottles, making the real versions, look rather boring.

Five Years Living With My Grandparents
Devil in Disguise

There have been times, when I'd wished i had invisible powers, or for the ground to swallow me up. There was one time, when I saw my landlord on the street, I resorted to taking my friends black scarf, and wrapping it around my head, Muslim style. Its times like that when i'd have loved an emergency moustache.

Christmas Tradition
I only have one Christmas tradition, and it kind of happened accidentally. I always have to have a brand new, never worn before, pair of pyjamas for Christmas Eve.

Shamanism
Shamanism is an anthropological term referencing a range of beliefs and practices regarding communication with thespiritual world.Shamanism encompasses the belief that shamans are intermediaries or messengers between the human world and the spirit worlds. Shamans are said to treat ailments/illness by mending the soul. Alleviating traumas affecting the soul/spirit restores the physical body of the individual to balance and wholeness.
Cy Twombly
In continuing with my lazy day of research, I found this guy. Cy Twombly. Not only does he have a delightful name. His art is right up my street as well. The drawings are layered, uncouth, feasts of lines. The sculptures are crispy and beautiful. I like this guy a lot, actually I havent even checked to see if he's a guy or not. I'm making an assumption.

Fantastical Fairytale Forms

So today I decided to trawl through the net gathering some nice art which may possibly provide me with some inspiration now that I'm no longer designing teatowels. My brain, however, is not in the best state for finding stimulating things. In fact it feels like it may explode soon. So I'm putting the basics up here, so i can revisit them at a later date, when the alcohol fatigue has vanished.
